Holiday Interior

Architect Tatyana Mironova has the talent to turn the prose of life, with its inherent practicality and everyday trifles, into an incredible interior celebration filled with joy and pleasure, color rhymes, unexpected contrasts and the desire to shine. This time, a country house with an area of 2,000 square meters became the object of the application of creative forces, where, on four floors, everything that seems to be necessary for a happy and exciting life of a family with two growing sons and a circle of guests is located. The customers turned to Tatyana at the stage when the frame of the house had already been built, the layout was marked, the facade was being finished, and the interior concept was just to be found.

“I was invited solely for publications in the magazine without any recommendations. The customers needed a modern house, but rather luxurious, with Art Deco elements,” says Tatyana Mironova. “In the end, we settled on the idea of elegant, classic light walls, against which rather bright, “ringing” and extravagant objects would appear.” Despite the saturation of the object environment, the first impression of the interior is lightness. It seems that he appeared miraculously, as in a kaleidoscope, with the next turn of which all the details formed into a delightful picture, made up of light, mirror reflections, spectacular details, rare finds, the most delicate pearl and lilac shades and bright blotches of gold and emerald. The same effect is preserved when moving around the house, especially in the front part of it - through the hall, living room, dining room, kitchen or entertainment area on the basement floor.

“I believe that a person, upon entering a house, should catch the interior design at first sight and immediately feel that everything in it was done with one hand and in one breath,” the author of the project formulates the basic principle of his work. To create such an effect, Tatyana Mironova, together with her colleague Andrei Kontorovsky, creates a roll call of decorative techniques, each of which develops in its own way in different rooms, whether it is the decoration of the floor with stone decor, the extraordinary design of lamps, neat Chinese and other oriental motifs, or generous portions of gold glare.

A special role in this concept is assigned to color - the light tone of the walls with small nuances became the basis of the interior, and lilac and green shades connected the entire space of the house into a single whole with large stitches. The architecture of the house and its layout made it possible to competently form the premises for different scenarios of family life. The entrance hall and the main hall with a dressing room and a staircase continue with a two-height space of the living room with a suite of rooms - a dining room, a front kitchen and a technical kitchen, which has its own separate entrance from the street. On the first floor, it was decided to make a master's block with a bedroom, dressing rooms and a bathroom. Therefore, the splendor of the decor of the front area continued in the private space, only the textures and colors softened.

The basement was used as a home entertainment center with a small lounge, bar, home theater and games room. On the second floor there were symmetrical rooms for sons decorated in the same style and a couple of guest rooms. The third attic floor was occupied by study rooms and a gym.

This interior is complex: a lot of things are created on an individual project, there is furniture and accessories from European and American factories, well-known and not so famous. When selecting interior items, I pay attention not to what most of my clients might like, but to rare, unique things that can reveal individuality and make the interior special. All my projects, without exception, are based on the principle of contrast,” sums up Tatyana Mironova. “It manifests itself in the color palette, textures, shapes, ideas, allows you to reveal the essence of things, their character and expressive properties, adds depth to the interior. After all, our whole life is built on contrasts, which is why it is interesting.
