From September 4 to 13, 2025, Paris will once again transform into an immersive design gallery, welcoming the public and creative experts into ateliers, showrooms, and cultural spaces across the city (over 375 venues will be present this year). KOKET and our Love Happens Mag will be in the city of fashion and craftsmanship for the week, exploring all the beauty—we hope to see you there!
Paris Design Week 2025: Where Design Meets the Streets of Paris
This year marks the 15th edition of Paris Design Week, running in harmony with the international home decor trade fair, Maison & Objet. Expect a bold convergence of emerging talents and mainstream names, framed by the historic architecture and winding lanes of the capital. 2025 also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Art Deco; we hope to see some wonderful heritage-meets-innovation resonance across exhibits.
Paris Design Week 2025 will unfold across some of the city’s most emblematic neighborhoods, from Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Left Bank to Le Marais, Opéra-Concorde, Bastille, and Palais-Royal – Place des Victoires – Pigalle. Each district will host a mix of exhibitions, installations, and late-night events, inviting visitors to wander from one creative hub to the next. At the heart of it all is the Paris Design Week Factory, the platform dedicated to emerging designers and experimental projects, where fresh voices in collectible and editorial design meet the international stage.
Highlights We Are Looking Forward To
Over 10 days, the city is filled with fresh energy with bold collaborations, experimental showcases, and poetic installations. This year, look out for Monoprix’s debut partnership with École Camondo graduates, a female-led “SHE” exhibition from the China Creative Pavilion, and the opening of Le 84, a new Factory space spotlighting rising talent.
Returning favorites also include “Vivement Demain” at Galerie des Gobelins, presenting the next generation of designers, and Mathieu Lehanneur’s helium balloon, floating once again above the city as a dreamy urban landmark. For those seeking more intimate encounters, the Maison Atelier Ozenfant will host Hyacinthe and Leitmotiv in Le Corbusier’s architectural treasure. We also can’t wait to stop by the Marie Daâge studio to check out her new #ManneristMood tableware!
Maison & Objet remains one of KOKET’s favorite industry rituals—and we can’t wait to see where the creative currents are flowing. For September, Maison & Objet has invited Amélie Pichard to serve as artistic director. Her theme, “Welcome Home“, is a boundary-free installation—envisioned as an open house—anchoring six dynamic sectors: Cook & Share, Décor & Design, Craft (métiers d’art), Fashion & Accessories, Fragrance & Wellness, and Gift & Play.
Heritage in the Spotlight: KOKET’s Straw Marquetry
With Paris Design Week 2025 honoring the centennial of Art Deco, KOKET’s Straw Marquetry Collection feels right at home in the celebration. Reviving a decorative technique that flourished in the Art Deco era, KOKET reimagines straw marquetry with contemporary forms and luxurious finishes. Just as Paris Design Week bridges past and present, these pieces embody the timeless dialogue between tradition and innovation, artistry and design.
Because Paris is Always a Good Idea (Especially for Design)
Paris Design Week 2025 is a treasure trove of unseen talent, tactile innovation, and unexpected luxury—far from ordinary tourism. It’s an invitation to stroll, discover, shop, and feel the city’s creative pulse at a seasonally magnetic moment. We can’t wait to see all the new designs and trends that unfold!
