First comes the poplar wood frame, the quality and durability of each piece is set by this groundwork. Master woodworkers combine hand craftsmanship with the latest modern technology to construct the upholstery frames. Molded curves and templated components of kiln-dried mixed hardwoods are securely joined together with nails and glue.
The master upholsterers
Once the frame is fully assembled the form is passed to the master upholsterers who cover it with layers of foam which vary in thickness and substance depending on which part of the piece they are covering. Seat cushions, arms and backs all receive foam with specifications best suited for their use.
The final phase is the application of fabric, the dress which beautifully molds to the body of the frame.
