Provide special care to avoid fading or wear out. The feathers are natural, not dyed. Anything exposed to strong light for extended periods of time will cause colors to fade and wear out. Use a soft brush to clean dust off the surface of the feathers following the direction of their application. Wood, lacquered, and linen pieces have been stained and/or polished to bring depth and beauty to each finish. Although most are protected with either a clear coat or wax, they are still susceptible to wear. Care for your wood and lacquer pieces by dusting regularly with a soft cloth. Maintain wood, lacquer and mother of pearl by not placing near heaters and air conditioning units to prevent over-drying or exposure to excessive moisture. Avoid extreme humidity changes in your home, as extremely dry air can cause wood to crack and lacquer to lift. Do not place/leave hot or moist objects directly on the wood. Rubber or plastic left on the wood finish can also damage the finish. Clean by using a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Follow by polishing with a dry soft cloth. Do not use commercial, heavy-duty polishes or waxes, as they can yellow light finishes. We recommend that tained or soiled wood, lacquer or mother of pearl pieces be professionally cleaned or refinished. Never use cleaners with alcohols or solvents on metals. Only used fine cotton or extra soft cloths. We recommend that tarnished metals be professionally cleaned.

Shipping costs are not included in the price of an item. This in no way implies that KOKET is responsible for the performance of the carrier. As a service to our customers, KOKET will arrange the shipping of orders via one of our preferred carriers. All charges are proforma and will be included on the final balance due notice. If the customer chooses to manage their own freight and delivery, KOKET must be notified of the specific details of the movement. The handling fee for “customer’s own” pick-up will be according to the invoice value. Ownership of the product transfers to the customer (owner) upon the freight carrier taking possession of the order for transport. Therefore, responsibility for damage occurring in-transit is the owner’s and all claims for freight damage must be made within 48 hours of receipt. If customer selects their own freight carrier, freight claims must be filed directly with the selected carrier. KOKET is not responsible for a customer’s own or third party freight damage and claim. All product claims should be reported directly to KOKET within 48 hours of receiving the product. You will then be given directives on how/where to send the proper documentation. Do not attempt a return without first having obtained a KOKET written authorization. KOKET will not accept returns without prior written authorization.
