You might want to sit down: Gucci just has launched Gucci Décor and we suddenly have the urge to redecorate.
Gucci and Bergdorf Goodman are introducing the Gucci Décor line with a temporary installation followed by a permanent shop. The iconic department store will be the first retailer to carry the highly anticipated collection. The collaboration coincides with New York Fashion week and were debuted on September 6 and will remain on view through October.
The eclectic collection of interior items includes familiar designs including the snakes, cats, and floral motifs from Alessandro Michele’s fashion collections. From candles, dishes, and trays to chairs and fabric screens, we just can’t get enough of Gucci Décor.
The installation resides on the Bergdorf’s seventh floor space and features five different wallpapers from the collection, accented with bold decorative folding screens, as well as unique jacquard vanity seat and wooden chairs. The permanent boutique is now the epitome of Gucci’s eccentric aesthetic.
The shop showcases yellow walls and a floral carpet adorned with pieces from the collection. Bergdorf Goodman also have installed a coordinating area on the second floor women’s ready-to-wear shop.
Goodman’s windows now celebrates the collaboration with Gucci by integrating the collection with Gucci House to create a vibrant and energetic vibe for all to view on the sidewalk.
Now on display on the 7th floor and in the #BGWindows.
