Tucker & Marks is an award-winning interior design firm which has long been considered one of the most respected and leading design firms in the country and it is based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 1986 by Suzanne Tucker and Timothy Marks, the firm has grown to be one of the largest of its kind on the West Coast, designing luxurious homes, yet elegant, and extremely comfortable and inviting houses.
Guided by Suzanne’s 30 years of experience and knowledge of architecture and decorative arts, she strive to create interiors of timeless beauty. Her team believes “good design is not about trends or rules but about creating timeless spaces that enhance one’s daily life”. Their work is based in distinctive and sensitive to one’s surroundings, whether creating vivid and cozy spaces or exquisite luxury homes.
They specialize in comfortable high-end residential interiors that are tailored to each individual client. Their design work is highly detail oriented, custom furnishings and sumptuous upholstery. Also, stunning lighting pieces, finely detailed linens, and beautiful accessories, and of course, a curating exceptional art and antique collections.
The big next project is a villa on the San Francisco Peninsula, a ranch in Aspen, a vacation home at Yellowstone Club in Montana. And we are looking forward to seeing it!
Philosophy: “Make it individual, make it beautiful” are words designers Suzanne Tucker and Timothy Marks live by.
The Next Big Thing: “Color—banish the beige!”
Key Influences: “Albert Hadley for his discerning eye, Sister Parish for her ability to flawlessly arrange a room, and Billy Baldwin for his elegant, American style.”
