The Angelina tearoom is worldwide famous for its delicious hot chocolate and is considered to be a must-not-miss venue for the Parisian aristocracy. From Proust to our most loved Coco Chanel and all the greatest French fashion designers, have had the pleasure to be seen at Angelina’s. Established in 1903 by the Austrian confectioner Antoine Rumpelmayer and named after his daughter-in-law, this tearoom was beautifully designed by the famous architect Edouard-Jean Niermans from the gorgeous Belle Epoque. The decor is elegant, charming and refined, here you can enjoy a quiet, delicious meal or treat and experience a moment of serenity and gourmet pleasure just as a “romantic poem” as the they describe themselves.
